About Me

Hello, I'm Jessica Steinrock (She/Her/Hers) - welcome! Perhaps you're looking to hire an intimacy coordinator for an upcoming project, or maybe you know me from Tik Tok! Whatever the reason, I'm glad you're here.

A little about me: I am a Certified Intimacy Coordinator, and one of only 40 intimacy coordinators to be listed on SAG-AFTRA's registry of qualified intimacy coordinators. Additionally, I am the CEO of Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC), a SAG-AFTRA accredited training organization for intimacy coordinators. With over 1 Million followers across my social media platforms, my goal is to bring awareness to how intimate scenes can be filmed safely and with artistry.

I have worked across the country on major television and film projects and regional theatres including Oregon Shakespeare Festival. My work is featured on major television platforms including TNT, Netflix, and hulu (among others). I also have a PhD in Theatre from the University of Illinois and travel to other universities working with faculty and students to integrate consent-based performance practices.

I love collaborating on new projects and am excited to hear about yours!

“She’s very patient,” said Karyn Kusama, a director and executive producer on the Showtime drama “Yellowjackets,” who worked with Ms. Steinrock on the show’s pilot. “She listens. She’s looking to the actor to take the lead in terms of … what will make them feel most cared for.”
